My Husband purchased an aircard for the laptop on one of those P.O.S contracts. I had a bad bad feeling, but the deed was done.
So he tries to install said card, and of course the software is outdated. The links lead to download sites which are moderated, have to wait......blah blah.
Finally it's installed. Bloody thing won't work in 3/4 of the places we try it. We were on vacation in that period, and I had to purchase a dial up account.
He took it back, and they ordered a new one. In the Meanwhile, we are getting these bills, and calls from some airheads who cannot even pronounce a name correctly.
After extensive conversations, it is discovered that the card WONT work in our area, and more than half of BC.
So they finally say its an Activation, in error. Done.
ummmm. not quite!
They want 182 bucks for the month we had the godamned thing now. Even though, it didnt work.
They wont budge on it. Its amazingly stupid. Considering that the phones we have which are going under a sledgehammer and being returned in teeny weeny peices, will lose them approx 100 bucks PER month.

And I will explain that in the letter thats going in the envelope.
I figure, that 182 dollar bill will be around 50,000 bucks lost to them in the end. And when my cable company gets phone service (soon, i asked them) buh bye telus. Bite my fat white A*s.
Thats the scoop. Dont buy telus equipment. And stick it to em wherever possible. They would only wish you the same things.
