As with the "Telus REALLY Sucks" message board, the rules for this board are essentially the same, except that I would additionally ask you to use this board for CONSTRUCTIVE posts about Telus competitors. Large parts of the Telus corporate culture still operate as if they were the undisputed monopoly telco - and the only way to change this is to hit them where it hurts: their wallet.
Please use this forum to tell others about great service you've found with a company other than Telus. We'll all benefit.
Beyond that, the general conduct rules here are the same as on the "Telus REALLY Sucks" board:
1) If you're going to post anything of a factual nature, ie: things like "Telus missed an appointment" or "Telus overcharged me", be very very sure you've got your facts straight BEFORE YOU POST. If you state something of a factual nature that can be proven false, you leave yourself open to criticism or possibly even action against you from Telus.
2) As Penn & Teller will tell you, the easiest way to get around slander and libel laws is to lean heavily on expressions of OPINION. This is why their current TV show is called "Bullshit!", rather than "Liars and Frauds" or something like that. If you state that Telus ripped you off, you need to be prepared to prove it - because that's an assertion of fact. But if you want to say Telus are a bunch of assholes... well, that's an opinion, and it's protected speech. ;D
3) As far as language is concerned - if you have a problem with the language I've used so far, then this isn't the place for you. While I reserve the right to edit or even delete any posts that I feel have gone over the line (ie: that are profane simply for profanity's sake), I will otherwise NOT edit peoples' posts and expressly allow the use of "colourful language". Given how much some people truly hate Telus, I think asking them to hold back on their expression would be counter-productive.
