Recently, apparently, Telus has decided to go after people whose internet accounts run over the alloted bandwidth. Charging them big money ($2 per GIG) however you will only know about this after they have shut off your account. No warning no letter and in my case not even a bill. The answer from "customer service" is that they have instigated a new policy, sorta like a decree from God I suppose. This has effectively left me with all my email messages lost in limbo. This company is the epitome of supreme arrogance whose only motivation is greed. I urge everyone to bombard the CRTC and Industry Canada with a flood of email add a link to this website. It is time this outfit got the muzzle put back on and consumers given a fair chance to defend themselves from these arbitrary impositions. The future is definitely unfriendly.

I tried to bombard the CRTC. Using my wonderful TELUS internet connection, I went to their website: www.crtc.gc.ca/THIS PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED. hmmmm.... So I said, the hell with this! I decided to go see what shaw has to offer at shaw.ca THE PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED ... I just can't win.
