i had telus high speed adsl 3.0mbps for two years. during these two years when ever i made a call or received one my internet would disconnect and would get speeds no higher then 104kbps. being a customer of telus i called about about these problems. they assured me that there was no way is was going that slow of speeds as telus has each person has their own line so speed would not even be affected at peak times. at that point i told them that it is impossible to have unaffected speeds during peak times a server would have i higher load to deal with slowing them down. so they sent a repair request and had someone at my door the next day which then him cut the lines then left. after two day i called telus back the sent someone that day and hooked me back up at which point i gave up cause i was moving. after the moving i had the same problems so i called telus yet again an sent a third person out that said it was the line and he would come back the next day. he did to my amazement replaced to lines asaid it was fixed as he was leaving i told him to stay until everything was fine so he did. two minutes later the modem connects i pick up my phone the internet disconnects. he said he can fix the problem and left so i called telus to end my contract due to failure to deliver services. they told my i would have to pay $100 to cancel the contract and they would drop all other charges which i thought was on unfair but accepted. one week later i receive a notice in the mail stating i owe telus $1000. i called telus. they said there was no promise of that. i told to the rep a little a bit she said my contract was breached by telus and told me to have a nice day. 2 hours later i got a called from telus to survey my experience with telus. due to the fact i deny the charges it cant hit my credit. i just have to say shaw is the best i got warp rated at 25mbps and looks at these speeds
