Telus stooping low to unfathomable levels. My Opinion.

Mom called from her home 403-285-XXXX. When I dialed her number from 403-226-YYYY, I instantly got following message:
The party you have called is not available; please leave a message after the tone. When you are finished, press # for other options or hang up to send the message.
? Mom does not have answering service option. I have never had an issue phoning Mom who has subscribed to Telus for decades. The message kicked too quickly for the call to have gone thru. I phoned several times with the same result. After waiting a few more minutes, phoned my brother who lives near Mom and asked him to go and ensure moms phone is not malfunctioning. Phoned Primus Tech Support. Luke at Primus tried Bell, Roger and Internet lines with same result. Ref: NNNNNN. He said it is a Telus issue and he does not have their tech support number. Got a call from Mom, my brother just called mom.
Moms phone works! Dialed Mom again and the damn message AGAIN.
Phoned Primus again, talked to Jesse who indicated it sounded like Translation error. I got upset when he declined to talk to Telus! Phoned my brother. “Who is you phone provider?” I asked. He said, “rogers”.
Phoned Telus and eventually talked to Ken; he said they will look into the issue within 24 hours. Time? Friday, 21-Aug-2009 01:15hrs. Went to Bed.
Friday, 21-Aug-2009 07:50hrs.
Ryan called from Telus 780-945-8350. He mentioned that the procedure is that Primus initiate the trace and provide Telus with ‘point codes’; probably translation error. Out of curiosity, I dialed mom from my cell phone and got through!?? 09:30hrs. I relayed the telus request to Primus who would address the issue in 1-2 business days, Ref: NNNNNNN. I also mentioned getting through on my cell phone.
NOW I KNEW WHAT WAS GOING ON! TELUS HAD DELIBERATELY SABOTAGED MY COMMUNICATIONS AND BLOCKED COMM FROM MY NUMBER TO MOMS. VERY OBVIOUS THAT ONLY CALLS FROM MY NUMBER WERE NOT REACHING MOMS PHONE. WHY? I initiated the switch from Telus to Primus for my Mom. I am the contact for the switch and Telus very conveniently erred in translation codes. Of course, they have been gauging seniors for decades and refuse to lower the cost of phone, an essential utility. The cost of phone line has risen from $6 to $24, with call display and 100minutes of long distance in Canada it costs $48!
THE BOTTOM LINE: With useless conservative government and CRTC, the businesses are stooping low to unfathomable levels. Harsh assessment? Did you know that CRTC has regulated the call management features such as name display to $1 per month unless it is bundled? Now, see if you can get the feature without bundle! And if you do, what is the cost?? What happened to cell phone cost gauging investigation?
