yeah, me and my brother have two plans. We don't get text messaging, wireless web, or any other SPARK™ stuff. Our phones are phones. TELUS made us think we were paying for SPARK 10 by putting it on the bill, not as SPARK 10 3 month promo, but simply as SPARK 10. and they also put some random fee costing about $10 right below the spark thing. When I was looking at the bill, I mixed them up and assumed we were paying for it. 3 months comes up - I call my voicemail, and the line is... what!? busy!? telus must be doing maintanence to the system. I try the next day. Still busy! this is starting to piss me off. I dialed 611. I asked a dumb, 17 sounding TELUS rep about why my voicemail, and later discovered, caller ID wasn't working. I sit on hold for 20 minutes. he finally picks up the phone and says, "Um...your 3 month promo is up." Me: What 3 month promo? Him: Um...the ones that come with the phones? Me: My bill said 10 dollars each month. Him: It must of been a mix up, sir. OK, I know I'm responsible for the mixup, but..COME ON! $75 A MONTH! NO SPARK FEATURES!!! NOT EVEN CALLER ID? This is pathetic. I can get more minutes and all those features and such for the same price at Rogers Wireless or Fido. This flat out pisses me off. I want to get out of this contract so badly, but we're worried about what TELUS will say. We don't want the cancellation fee, because this is the 4th month I've had TELUS. The total cancellation fee would be almost $650. Sorry TELUS, I'd rather spend that on an iPhone. From Rogers.

Not much to say about the mix up but dude... i got dinged with a $700 bill for contract breach [deliberate on my part]... basically i had 7-$100 bills in my hand and threw it out the window. In retrospect? it was the best thing i could have done to atone for my error in selecting Telus cell service to begin with.

i asked for a copy of everything that was offered to me by several Telus client care people....they said they don't do that.....WTF.....the contract the have is the piece of crap we sign when we pick up that new phone that starts acting up after 30 days...i can't understand how large companies get away with murder...IHATETELUS>>>change ur plan....ask for free incoming calls.....fido and rogers offer it.....i've been with them for almost 8 years....but i don't like being lied to...
