I bought an HTC Hero from Telus last february thinking it would be updated soon. The update from HTC has been reported to late june... only to learn that Telus had not requested an update for their network.
In the meantime Telus started to charge me outrageous fees (over 300$/month). When that happened I simply quitted paying my bill, Moved and kept the phone.
In the meantime I bought a second hand phone that is unlocked and moved top prepaid rogers.
I am not going to root and unlock the phone and update it myself and finally move my rogers sim card in it.
Telus, you can go fuck yourself. I am keeping the phone, keep your bills.
