My parents have been with Telus for... er... over 6 years! And recently I looked closely over my cell phone bill, and was outraged to see... 911 fees, system access fees, AND an extra $2 JUST to receive a frickin paper bill! Anyways, i looked at the website and saw...
"What you see is what you pay
Beginning November 5, TELUS will offer new Clear & Simple™ pricing, with no System Access Fee (SAF) or carrier 911 fee, across our business wireless rate plan suite."
WTF?!?! Why do i get sys access fees? So I read the FAQ...
"Q. As an existing TELUS client, can I stay on my existing rate plan and remove SAF and carrier 911 fees?
A. No. The expenses covered by System Access and carrier 911 fees still exist, so you must continue to pay the fees while you remain on your existing plan. You have the option to change to Clear & Simple™ (the person on the phone told us we could switch for like $300! No joke!) rate plans as of November 5, but if you choose to do so, you will forfeit the benefits and features of your existing rate plans."
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..................... Watta bunch of a-holes!
Now I found another example of how much Telu$ values their loyal customers.
They were offering a "FREE" Xbox 360 if you signed up for their internet!
I have had Telu$ "High-Speed" internet for a LLLOOONNNNGGGG time, and I recently want to upgrade to "High-Speed Turbo" (since High-Speed is slowed to a crawl), so i'm thinking... If i upgrade to their faster internet (for $52 a month) I should be elligible for the 360! (It says "Sign up for TELUS Internet and get a FREE Xbox 360®.*") Clear and simple yet when i click "Order Now"... and it asks "Do you currently have TELUS Internet service?" and I say "Yes, I have TELUS High Speed service" and It replies with "The FREE Xbox 360® offer is not available for existing High Speed clients." (Only for new people!)
Obviously, the Future is NOT Friendly.
Here's what I think about Telu$: lloorreennn.deviantart.com/#/d3ib6hl ;D
