I had been a telus customer for a long time....I must be stupid. A few months ago the modem they supply me with started cutting out every couple of days , I had to keep rebooting. Finally it pack in completely, I phone telus customers service and explain to them the issue I was having and the age of the modem, they treat me like I know nothing...are you plug in, are the adsl lights flashing etc. They will not admit the modem was shot. They went as far as saying my computer was not configure properly, this was 3 phone calls and 2 hours wasted already. Next step I try every pc's I have 6 of them same thing , nothing . I call back to tell them the result, as you all know only a bunch FUCKEN IDIOTS will tell me all my pc's are shot. Fortunately a friend of mine had a spare modem I could try and see what happen, it was working the instant everything got connected. I called back to customers service again told them I fixed it, they seem surprised, shocked ask stupid question like the model number, the serial number of the modem. What difference does that make really, it worked they didn't take my advice,4 days wasted, they just want to talk no action, a typical offshore customer service these big corporation runs.
