Telus wants to screw you:
Deceitful Telus wants to confuse you with their plan options and ding you for extra charges.
Unhelpful Telus wants to cut costs by using out-of-country customer service reps who can't help you beyond routine business.
Opportunistic Telus wants to squeeze money out of you for canceling their service even if you never agreed to a contract with them.

I recently received a Telus cell phone for my birthday. I activated it and went with a pre-paid plan. They keep emptying my account every time I top up for no reason that I can see. My pre-paid plan is $20 a month which includes unlimited texting, and that's really all I use my phone for. I keep it topped up so I have a way to reach work and they can reach me, but beyond that, I don't use my phone. How then, after my pre-paid plan is paid up for the month, can they justify emptying my account of the remaining $20 I have on it when I don't even use my phone?? Today I happen to need my phone to make an important call to work, and my account balance is at 0. I HAVEN'T EVEN USED MY PHONE, so those funds should still be in my account. They are a bunch of shady fuckheads indeed.
