Four years ago I switched to Shaw---from Telus---for internet service. Some time later I also switched my landline to Shaw. Lo and behold, I kept getting a bill from Telus for $10.00 a month. Sure enough, it was for an internet bundle......for internet service I no longer had!!! I called Telus and asked nicely for my money back. I thought this would be no problem. The woman from Telus admitted that I was being billed in error, but that they could only refund me for eight months---out of a total of four years!! A couple of months later, this was still bugging me, so I called Telus again and said I really wanted ALL my money back, as this was only fair. The fellow on the line said the matter had already been resolved, but I asked him if I could speak to his supervisor. He said he would talk to her FOR me. He returned and said the farthest they could go back with repayment was eleven months. I was fed up with the whole thing and I felt backed into a corner. I agreed to the 110.00 repayment. This entire situation still bothers me. Has anyone else persisted with Telus in any type of similar situation? Who did you call? Were you successful? A reputable company would repay me, hands down. Telus is very crooked and deceitful. I am bitterly disappointed in them. I still have all the bills.
